I’ve had the pleasure of working with Anthony Cenerini on both of Orchid Orchestra’s EPs, “With Love” and “Be Lucky”. Be Lucky, in particular, marked a real turning point. With more time and resources, we were able to lean further into the creative process, and Anthony was central to shaping the sound and spirit of the record. The recordings we made together have become the foundation for how we present ourselves as a band—they’re what people hear first, and they’ve opened countless doors for us.

So many of the opportunities we’ve had since releasing Be Lucky—from media coverage to festival interest to genuine fan connection—have come directly from the strength of the recordings. Anthony’s dedication, creativity, and care have been instrumental in helping us move forward as a band. I’m incredibly grateful to have worked with him.
— Rupert Hudson, Orchid Orchestra
I enjoyed the process—and results—so much that I ended up writing several new songs and stretching the four songs out to a nine-song album. Anthony’s consistency behind the kit and professionalism in the studio were fundamental to the project’s success and the results far exceeded my expectations.

As the project’s mastering engineer Mark Kramer [GWAR, Butthole Surfers, Ween] observed, Anthony does “GREAT mixing work” and mixing was just one aspect of his many game-changing contributions to the album.

I will be forever grateful for Anthony’s dedication to my project and eagerness to go the extra mile to make the album sound its best.
— Chris Milne, Chicane Lane
After chatting with Anthony for a few minutes, I had decided 100%—if I ever made an album, it was going to be with him.

Anthony was able to create the sound and feel that I heard in my head but didn’t have the vocabulary or experience to describe in words. The whole recording experience was an absolute joy that I never wanted to end. When I listen to the album, I can’t believe those are my songs, my instruments, my voice. He did an incredible job, start to finish.

Since its release, I can feel a real momentum shift. In the last while, I have been blessed to play my songs on some of Vancouver’s more renowned stages and even booked a spot in a major folk festival on the East Coast. With the experience that I gained working with Anthony, I think about and listen to my music differently. He has become an integral part of my story and I’m already looking forward to more collaborations—live or in the studio, West Coast, East Coast, or somewhere in between.
