WE PRODUCE.

WE ENGINEER.

And yeah, WE MIX, too.

    • A music producer or record producer is a recording project's creative and technical leader, commanding studio time and coaching artists. The music producer, or simply the producer, is likened to a film director.

This is an all-encompassing "one-stop shop" service. Our tailored Music Production quotes include all of the services listed below (with the exception of Mastering). We feel that's easier to digest and gets the finer details out of the way so we can focus on the task at hand: developing a great production.

We are experienced and absolutely love finding new ways for an artist to express themselves and take their project to the next level.

A full-scale music production project is only as successful as the preparation process, so it's best to get us involved as early as possible. We often start working even before any songs are written!

We'll start by discussing your project's goals in detail over multiple consultations, and using our network to help you build a team of any and all of the personnel needed to make your project successful: co-writers, arrangers, session musicians, etc.

If you have a solid creative idea or demo already and just need support and guidance in turning it into an album-ready or radio-ready production, we're here for that! Much of the value of this service lies in its inherent flexibility, generous studio time, and consistent communication. Our producers are happy to take on different roles depending on the project—from coach, to creative force, and everything in between.

No matter what, you can be assured our producers are always in your corner.

Please use the Book Now button at the top of the page (or at the bottom of the navigation menu if you're on mobile) to tell us more about your project!

    •  "Audio engineers work on the "technical aspect of recording—the placing of microphones, pre-amp knobs, the setting of levels. The physical recording of any project is done by an engineer ... the nuts and bolts."

As home recording continues to rise in popularity, we have become a popular destination for indie, blues, country, and rock artists and producers to track drums or other individual elements that help them further develop and complete their own recordings.

Rates for basic Recording & Engineering services are listed below.

We also offer remote recording, and frequently freelance at other facilities both in Winnipeg and across Canada. Contact us today to talk more about your project!

    • “In sound recording and reproduction, audio mixing is the process of optimizing and combining multitrack recordings into a final mono, stereo or surround sound product. Audio mixing techniques and approaches vary widely and have a significant influence on the final product.”

Mixing is one of the most popular services we offer.

Whether we have recorded your project front-to-back, or you've recorded it elsewhere — whether at another professional studio or at home — a professional mix is absolutely integral to your project being as successful as it can be. In our opinion, it is a step that should always be carried out by a professional, experienced Mixing Engineer.

We prioritize creating a consistent and exciting listening experience for your audience that is genre-appropriate. We mix approximately 80/20 "in-the-box" and have all the best software (Pro Tools Studio), plugins (Melodyne, SoundToys, Waves, Plugin Alliance, Universal Audio, etc), and hardware to make your mix really stand out.

Mixing is typically charged per project (single, audiobook, album, etc).

Please use the Book Now button at the top of the page (or at the bottom of the navigation menu if you're on mobile) to tell us more about your project!

    • “Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication.”

We do not typically offer Mastering unless budget is a strict concern.

The overwhelming majority of projects we've done in the past couple of years were mastered by Andrew Downton at Railtown Mastering in Vancouver, BC, whom we wholeheartedly recommend to all of our clients.
